Why BCO Matters

  • Expanding Access to Music

    MUSIC FOR EVERYONE

Concerts from $15 made for first-timers and lifelong fans, kids and grandparents, and everyone in between. Live orchestral music shouldn't depend on what you can afford.

  • Contributing to Civic Life

    IT’S MORE THAN A CONCERT

A child hearing a live orchestra for the first time. A grandparent bringing the whole family downtown. BCO concerts create Gulf Coast memories and bring families back to downtown Biloxi, made possible by local sponsors, partners and musicians who all call the Coast home.

  • Lifelong Learning

    WHERE YOUNG MUSICIANS GROW

Most musicians never get to play in a full orchestra. At BCO, they do. Homeschool, high school, and college students play side by side with adults and pros in a full orchestra.

  • Stronger Together

PROOF OF WHAT OUR COMMUNITY CAN DO

In early 2025, the Biloxi Civic Orchestra didn’t exist. Within its first season it grew to 70+ musicians of every age, performed major symphonic works, and became the resident orchestra of the historic Saenger Theatre. No single person made that happen. A community did.

First time at the orchestra? Perfect.
